Direct Care Staff

Job Description:
  • Plan and carry out meaningful and purposeful programmes and activities to enable residents to learn new things or continue to use their abilities

Roles & Responsibilities
  1. Make frequent rounds and attend to residents’ needs. Ensure the safety, comfort and well-being of the residents and report residents’ needs to the nurse

  1. Is responsible for compliance of all therapy standards as stipulated by the Ministry of Health and Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC)
  2. Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document therapy needs of residents to facilitate, restore, improve or maintain movement/function for all new admissions. Review and update plan 6 monthly or more frequently as needed

Job Description

  • Manage Stock Management System and constantly keep the record up to date on a daily basis
  • Attend to requisitions submitted by the Requestor/ Departments and issue the supplies
  • To supply and replenish items to the respective Requestor/ Department.
  • Work closely with colleague from various Department on donation items related matters
  • Repackaging of daily use & other bulk items into smaller packets and issued to the relevant departments.
  • Perform housekeeping and general cleaning of the store so as to keep the store clean and tidy at all times.
  • Keep record of groceries, food, equipment, toiletries items and others donated by the member of the public.
  • Ensure the groceries are store properly and keep track of the expiry date of the food items.
  • Support logistics duties (including loading and unloading of supplies, furniture, equipment and donation).
  • Support collection of donation within and out of the nursing home.
  • Assist in logistical set-up for nursing home events, volunteer events and vaccination programme
  • Refilling of toiletries, chemicals hand wash and hand rub supplies and m-fold paper.
  • Transferring of bulky items and equipment to offices, ward or bin centre.
  • Adheres to all workplace safety, security guidelines when performing duties & handling of store supplies.

Job requirement

  • Minimum secondary or above

  • Computer literacy for system management

The primary responsibility of an organizational change manager is to develop and implement change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage of required changes. These responsibilities also include plans and efforts to anticipate and minimize resistant behaviours from employees and stakeholders who are impacted by the changes.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading change management work streams with a structured methodology and process.
  • Identify key stakeholder groups impacted, understand their key concerns, engage them and manage expectations to facilitate adoption.
  • Improve on existing methodologies and tools, provide creative new ideas, challenge existing norms and share new insights and valuable experiences with the rest of the team.
