Nurses Day

Happy Nurses Day to all the amazing nurses
and care staff from all over the world!

We kickstarted Nurses Day on 24th July with case presentations where nurses and care staff share interventions that have positively impacted the well-being of our elderly residents. The residents were profiled and individualised care plans were tailored to their needs and preferences, aligning with our person-centred care (PCC) guiding principles and BHEH’s core values of Love, Responsibility, Integrity, Compassion, and Respect.

As the night falls, we continued the happy occasion with a sumptuous spread of buffet, short speech by CEO followed by lucky draws and rounds of entertaining games. A special segment on the recital of the staff pledge was included to serve as a powerful reminder and reinforcement of the commitment that nurses and care staff hold towards their profession and the care they provide to residents.

It’s also worth mentioning that this was our first mass gathering with everyone since Covid, and the atmosphere was buzzing with excitement! We are truly heartened to see the nurses and care staff come together to enjoy themselves and boost morale.

Kudos to the organising committee (comprising of nurses and care staff) who have worked tirelessly in ensuring a memorable and enjoyable event. A warm congratulations to the winners of the case study presentations and lucky draw as well!

Last but not least, we cannot thank our nurses and care staff enough for their unwavering dedication and commitment. They are at the forefront of residents’ overall care, ensuring their well-being, safety, and comfort on a daily basis. In the face of adversity, they have truly shown unwavering strength, resilience and bravery. Their professionalism and commitment truly inspire us all and we are deeply appreciative of their hard work!
